Next generation data centres (NGDC), and the cloud technology they are built upon, have been a hot topic recently. One of the key reasons is that this technology has reached a tipping point for mass adoption. On the one hand, the technology used to create a cloud infrastructure is now developed enough to make NGDC a viable option. On the other hand, there are still significant barriers to implementation for many businesses.
On the 5th July, we will be hosting one of our infamous technology events at our swish new demo lab in central London. At the event, we will hear from some of the pioneers at the forefront of cloud technology: VMware, Atlantis and RES Software.
These giants in the field of cloud technology will come together to present some real world solutions to some of the toughest virtual problems.
'What are these problems?' ...we hear you cry.
Transitioning to cloud infrastructure – Having used in-house servers for so long, it can be tough to see a clear path to cloud adoption. What services do you outsource? How can you most effectively use the infrastructure you already have? How do you balance the need for flexibility and security?
One of the many great presenters and demonstrators from VMware will be there on the 5th to explain the benefits of the VMware vCloud Director & vCenter Operations Manager as tools for directing and allocating virtual resources for the most efficient cloud infrastructure.
Making the cloud more cost viable – Imagine a world where virtual desktops were cheaper, faster and more secure than an equivalent PC or laptop. That is the aim of the Atlantis ILIO.
Discover how Atlantis plan to tip the scales for cloud adoption and get your business ahead of the game in terms of cloud benefits. It might sound too good to be true but we can assure you, this is one cloud that won't rain on your parade!
Securing BYOD – For most companies, mobile devices are a security nightmare. There is no denying their usefulness and there is little getting passed their growing influence, but how on earth are we supposed to keep the data secure?
This is the challenge being tackled by the RES HyperDrive. Experts from RES Software will demonstrate the ingenuity and innovation behind their new HyperDrive and answer any questions you may have. So if you want to allow mobile devices on your network without the inherent security risks, get yourself down to our event on July 5th.
There are limited spaces available for the event, so book your place early. We will be maximising numbers by holding both a morning (8.30-12pm) and afternoon (1.30-5pm) session, so book your place on the event now.
We will, of course, bring you a full round up of the event. So make sure you keep in touch with us on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn to make sure you stay in the loop.
